Wildlife Recording

“citizen science” and wildlife recording are incredibly important for keeping track of the state of our native wildlife.  This weekend was “garden bioblitz” – if you didn’t take part then have a look at the website and see what else is happening:

Here at SFPT our expert Tom Langton has set up a “recording grid” for noting species seen at our 2 sites and where they were seen.  Have a look at the “seasonal diary” page for a recent update on this and wildlife sightings at Fromus valley.

    I noticed in today’s EADT EAEnvironment that you would like someone to regularly survey and list the flora in the Orchid Glade. I survey the flora in Suffolk churchyards, and also participate in Plantlife’s Wildflower count in the Hollesley area, and would be pleased to help out with the recording.
