Find the Flora! Survey

FIND THE FLORA AT FROMUS, 8th APRIL 

All Guardians are welcome to join a Botanical Survey at Simpson's Fromus Reserve on 8th April.  Convene at 10.00 h; disperse (or eat your picnic) 13.00 h. 

As this website shows, we already have a remarkably rich list of the plants of Simpson's Fromus Reserve as a whole but, for better management of the mediaeval pastures and for future Stewardship, a separate assessment is needed for each small meadow.  Standard survey methods will be used, but no previous experience needed.  You will do well to bring your favourite flower book, but we shall all cooperate to identify rarities.
