Overnight on 23rd March, our young cow #78 Bushwell Shilling gave birth to a pretty heifer calf, sired by SFPT's super friendly bull Drakkar. As you see, the cattle are still under shelter. Provided the weather does not deteriorate, they should be out at Simpson's Fromus Reserve early in April, doing their essential job of managing the sward for the benefit of traditional Suffolk grassland flora.
