As you may be aware, website accessibility for those people with differing forms of visual impairment is becoming an ever more important feature of modern websites.
Indeed for local government websites, there is a requirement to meet the WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guideline) 2.1 Website Accessibility Standard by September 23rd 2020.
Here at One Suffolk we make all our websites accessible and I'm pleased to be able to update you on some additional works, to help in the area of accessibility, we have completed and launched in the last couple of days. On all One Suffolk websites you will now notice a small "disability icon" on the left hand side of all pages on your site. This provides in-built facilities for users with forms of visual impairment to change the colour contrast of the page and change the text size. ...
